Who: Anyone who’s willing and able to help. Scarlett students are welcome to participate but you must bring a parent.
Where: Meet at the bench near the showcase at the main entrance to the woods.
Why? Disposing of pallets that has been removed from the path on the south side of the pond, maybe woodchip spreading or clean up around the benches or widening of the path on the south side of the pond or opening view of the pond from drowned trees.
What to bring:
- Pallet Removal: Something to remove pallets (carts, wheelbarrows, riding lawnmower).
- Clean up: Trash bags for removing poison ivy around the benches.
- Widing of path: Buckthorn puller.
- Downed trees: Chain saw.
When: June 7, 2025 at 10:00am – noon.

Snacks and water if desired. Mosquitos are out, so please apply repellent. Please shower with soap after being in the woods to wash any contact to poison ivy and do a tick check.
