The 2023 Great Backyard Bird Count is coming up this long weekend:  Friday, February 17 through Monday, February 20.  Find out the details participating at this Audubon website https://www.birdcount.org/participate/  (I wasn’t able to find anything on the Washtenaw Audubon Society website but as I understand it you can participate by counting birds in a particular location for as little as 15 minutes)

Washtenaw County Conservation District – If you don’t already subscribe to it, the WCCD sends out an excellent newsletter via email, including workshops and wild plant sales.  You can subscribe or find back issues on their website at this link:  https://www.washtenawcd.org/conservation-update-newsletter.html
